I started off by buying a lot of old clothing, second-hands, taking it apart, putting it back together again. Seeing how it was made.

Walé Adeyemi: Then I decided I obviously wanted to go deeper into it and wanted to go to college. There's a lot of good colleges out there and you've got to use the opportunities what you can, you know. It's not really about the college you go—it's about what you get out of the course. You know, using all the facilities, all the new technologies that are coming out, you've got all those at college because when you leave, that's it, you know. You've got to pay for everything, if you haven't got the machine, you haven't got the machine.
